Don't Miss Blues Under the Bridge!
Something that Colorado is well-known for are the awesome music festivals that take place all year round throughout the state. While many people who aren't from the area know about Red Rocks Amphitheater, they may not know about other music festivals around our community. One of the best things about living in Colorado Springs is that this area has a lot of really cool events that go on here! One of those upcoming events is the 13th Annual Blues Under the Bridge music festival! Check out the details:

4:45pm to 6:15pm – Selwyn Birchwood Band

Tab Benoit
Tab Benoit won B.B. King Entertainer of the Year award in 2007 and 2012. In 2010, he was inducted into The Louisiana Music Hall of Fame. “The Louisianan’s aggressive approach to his instrument has honed it to near splinters. He plays it so hot that it could be used to boil a pot of crawfish.” Tim Parsons, Tahoe On Stage
Nikki Hill

Selwyn Birchwood
Selwyn Birchwood got his start with Texas blues legend Sonny Rhodes, and has opened for Buddy Guy, Robert Cray, John Lee Hooker Jr., and Joe Louis Walker. He is currently signed to Alligator Records.
Hector Anchondo
Hector Anchondo, Finalist in the 2016 International Blues Challenge in Memphis, TN has shared the stage with Johnny Winter, The Marshal Tucker Band, Robert Randolph & The Family Band, Bernard Allison, Magic Slim, Ronnie Baker Brooks, Fishbone, Devon Allman, Mike Zito, Cyril Neville, Samantha Fish and many more.
Crystal and the Curious
Crystal and the Curious are Crystal Bliss, Bob Tudor, and Randy Bowen, three seasoned local artists and improvisers, creating sophisticated music for curious lovers of life.

Tickets go on sale April 15 (Eventbrite only). $50 (91.5 KRCC Members) $60 (General Admission) / $100 V.I.P. / $65 Gate (Day of show ticket sales may be limited.) 12 and under free. On sale at this link: Eventbrite.com After July 12, tickets will be available ONLY at the Entrance Gate the day of the festival and credit card or cash is accepted. All tickets day of are $65.

Venue Location
This unique urban festival venue is located at 218 West Colorado Avenue - next to I-25 under the Colorado Avenue bridge.
Entrance Gates and Parking
Enter the festival admission gates at the Cimino Dr. parking entrance. The South Gate is the only entrance gate. Credit card and cash ticket sales, and an ATM will be available at the festival entrance. Buy your ticket early, we expect to sell out.
Paid parking is available south of the Colorado Ave. bridge (across from America the Beautiful Park, on Cimino Drive). Parking is $12 per vehicle. A limited number of handicap spaces will be available next to the South Gate. There is NO PARKING available on the North side of the bridge. V.I.P. ticket holders park for free until the lot is full. Disabled attendees may be dropped off at the South Gate entrance for easier access. Our Volunteers are happy to help!
13th Annual Blues Under the Bridge Music Festival
Blues Under the Bridge is recognized as a premier blues music festival attracting blues fans from all over Colorado, and the greater southwest United States. Past Blues Under the Bridge Festivals have showcased such blues greats as Koko Taylor, The Fabulous Thunderbirds, The Holmes Brothers, Los Lobos, Charlie Musselwhite, Robert Belfour, The Blind Boys of Alabama, and Bettye LaVette. The day long festival also showcases, local and regional talent.
