The Platte Canyon School District shares with parents the responsibility of educating our youth. This education includes preparing students for higher education, to successfully enter the world of work, to be responsible citizens and to be life-long learners. We believe that our District must offer comprehensive programs in safe schools with positive educational environments, set high expectations for learning and assure implementation of a wide-range of effective instructional strategies to address diverse learning needs and talents.

The Lewis-Palmer School District is situated at the north end of El Paso County, north of the United States Air Force Academy. Serving about 6000 students, the district encompasses Palmer Lake, Monument, Woodmoor and the northern part of the Black Forest area. In addition to the core curriculum, all district schools offer programs to meet the unique learning needs of students that qualify for Special Education, Gifted, and Talented services and for those students that speak languages other than English. Indicators of student learning, as measured by state and national tests, confirm that District 38 ranks among the highest in the state.
At Ellicott, we want to inspire everyone to think, to learn, to achieve, and to care in a safe environment. Residents of the Ellicott community experience the benefits of a small school atmosphere, a close and caring community, and the quiet serenity of a rural setting, all within a 20-minute drive to downtown Colorado Springs and all of the amenities of a large metropolitan area.

Being at or near the top of all schools in Colorado and the Nation in academic achievement is the result of students who come to school ready to learn, strong parent and community participation and support, and outstanding teachers, administrators, and a board of education who are committed to providing an environment conducive to all aspects of learning. Approximately 90% of our graduates go on to college, many of the most prestigious colleges and universities in the nation.
Edison’s secondary consists of grades six through twelve. The school year 2011 - 2012 enrollment is 53 students.
